COSPLAY PROGRESS: 2009-2013

So! I noticed a month or so ago that this past Katsucon was my fifth time going to that particular convention. Since it’s been about six years since I started cosplaying, I figured I might as well make a photoset to show the progress that I’ve made over the years!

Here are a few costumes I made when I first started sewing and about the last three costumes I made side-by-side!

• Haruhi Fujioka (Haruhi in Wonderland) - Ouran High School Host Club (Katsucon 2009)
• Trish Una - JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo (Otakon 2009)
• Roxy Lalonde (Rumminov’s Alphas in Wonderland) - Homestuck (Phillystuck October 2012)
• Hyper Blossom - Power Puff Girls Z (Nekocon 2012)
• Latula Pyrope - Homestuck (Katsucon 2013)

It just goes to show how much you can improve when you’re stubborn and stick with it, man! My craftsmanship and makeup skills would have never changed if I didn’t keep challenging myself. Or if I never got into JoJo, which I really think had a lot to do with teaching me the skills that I have now lmao.

Five years difference, man. It’s like the cosplay version of rags to bitches. B]
