Some of my followers already know the story of how I got my dog, Strider. For those that don’t, 2 ½ years ago a friend of mine was visiting us in Savannah, GA and found a stray momma dog begging for food. She followed momma and discovered a litter of 8 puppies under a nearby abandoned building. We found loving homes for all the pups, but Sasha, the momma, requires a bit of extra care and as a result has been moved from foster home to foster home in the time since we found her. Her current situation is seeing her moving from Virginia to Texas, where she will hopefully be finding her forever home, but getting her there and set up with a trainer is expensive.
