Yzak Jule, Gundam SEED Destiny, AnimeBoston 2006. Ebayed costume, shitty wig, random-ass boots from a thrift store. It was fun, yeah, but man, so many faux pas.

Cure Black, Pretty Cure, Katsucon 2012. This was made by my friend Darcy instead of lolchina. Yeah, I still don’t make my own costumes, mostly because for me cosplay is less about making the costume and more about trying to look like the character/model the outfit. But that’s just me.
