- Villains might value their work enough to guard their bases with soldiers and monsters.
- Geological survey missiles that didn’t dent a robot last week probably won’t do it this week either.
- A robot deliberately and aggressively designed without weapons will not suddenly sprout weapons just because you have shit to do.
- Sayaka isn’t interested in your alpha male bullshit.
- The citizens are gonna be pissed if having your lab in their town means an insane mad scientist will keep torching their homes.
Things I wish didn’t shock the villains of Mazinger Z
- A Japanese teenage boy with a giant robot is probably going to make the one insane hero move you didn’t plan for because no one in their right mind would do it.
- If your secret weapon is a cannon that didn’t do shit for Japan during the war, it won’t do shit for you.
- When your underlings are a half-man/half-woman the long way, a headless Nazi, and a mutated racial stereotype, there will probably be dissension in the ranks.
