However, and this is fucking important so listen up, my trans*male friends, acquaintances, and my fucking partner have faced their own horrors, and HOW FUCKING DARE YOU DIMINISH THAT. How fucking dare you say that trans* men are accepted and loved by society and everyone? Do you know the anxiety I face every time my partner leaves the house alone? Do you know the pain and trauma that my friends faced when they were raped to "prove they were girls"? I spent an hour on the phone with my own mother yesterday crying because I wanted to bring my partner OF FIVE FUCKING YEARS home for christmas for the first time and my conservative fucking family can't fucking handle it so I have to leave him alone for six fucking days do you even fucking know how scared I will be? And before that, when we were planning on driving 1500 miles to my home state, and I had to plan for bringing the mace and personal alarms because we're going through states where MY FUCKING PARTNER ISN'T ALLOWED TO USE THE FUCKING BATHROOM. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF HE IS MALE OR FEMALE BECAUSE HE IS TRANS*. This is our fucking reality. And there's so much more. We know trans*men who have been kicked out, who have been assaulted, who have been forced into sex work, who have been disowned, who have been physically and sexually abused, the list goes on and fucking on. Trans* people are the most shit upon group in America, trans* men and women and queers of all colors so fucking STOP ACTING LIKE EVERYTHING IS FINE FOR TRANS*MEN. I'm too fucking angry, I have so fucking much I want to say but it's hard to even fucking think. Why the fuck are we dividing these people into two separate camps? What the fuck made anyone think this was fucking okay? YES transwomen face certain difficulties that are unique to them. Transmen do as well. That's absolutely true and should be recognized. But acting like everything is hunky fucking dory for transmen is just sticking your head so far up your ass that you see fucking daylight. This post is a fucking obscenity.
