Aye, white paint is legendarily hard to apply well. My attempts to use it tend to turn out chalky and gross, so I generally limit it to small areas. Using off-white paints can help (they tend not to be quite as weird).
Typically I use a very very light gray, but unfortunately this project calls for actual white…

I made it really super clear to them that I’d be better suited to any kind of office position but they made me do the canvasing anyway, and well, look where it got me.
