Saturday evening I’ll be cosplaying 70’s Ms. Marvel at Connecticon! Here’s a pic so you’ll know it’s me.

I’m thinking we could do a meetup or something at the Marriott hotel lobby/bar? I’m not familiar with the con’s layout since I haven’t been before. How does 8PM Saturday night sound?

Additionally, I’m hosting Gender Identity in Anime and Convention Culture Saturday night at 11PM. I’d love to see you all there.

Event Description: How gender is perceived in fandom and convention culture is a very difficult subject. Things become even more difficult when characters of varying gender identities are thrown in the mix. Join us for a panel discussing the implications of how gender is perceived in these circles, hosted by several people from across the transgender spectrum.
