What exactly do you find offensive about it?

Well, it’s (generally) a bunch of cis men in wigs and makeup playing up old stereotypes of women performing in safe spaces. They’re often seen as “faces” of the queer community, but they don’t experience the kinds of violence that transgender women face, because once they leave that safe space, they’re back to being cis men. It almost feels like it’s mocking what I have to go through every day.

Additionally, people have a hard time separating what is a drag queen from what is a transgender woman.

Hey, I’ve seen enough Hawaiian shirts in my day to have formed this opinion.

I just hardly ever see guys with any coordination in their outfits. It’s just bland and boring to look at. Having lived through that crap for several years I can say that it’s less about looking nice and more about doing shit that works. Do fashionable guys exist? Sure, but they’re kinda buried under the 5000 t-shirts, gym shorts, and baseball caps…
