No, the Zeons didn’t care about Spacenoid Independence. If they did they wouldn’t have GASSED A COLONY FULL OF INNOCENT CIVILIANS BEFORE DROPPING IT ON EARTH.

They wanted to rule under, as Gihren said, the Chosen Superior Race of Zeon.

Katsucon 2014: Zeon Rally for Gundam’s 35th

Since some of us have been discussing the ideas of awesome new Gundam cosplays, we figured it would be high time to do a huge group of Zeon cosplayers together. And we figured since next years is Gundam’s 35th, it’d be the perfect opportunity.

So here are the guidelines:

1. Characters must be Zeon-affiliated and in some form of Zeon uniform. Meaning, if you’re going to cosplay, say, Bernie, use his Zeon uniform, and not his civilian jacket. 
2. Duplicates are welcome, but opt for alternate outfits if possible. We already have one Mineva Zabi in her Unicorn outfit, but if you wanted to do her ZZ outfit instead, that would be preferable.
3. Skill level doesn’t really matter. We’re trying less for coordination and more for “holy crap that’s a lot of Zeons”. But of course, the nicer uniforms the better.
4. Generic Soldiers are ok. If you’d rather just be random Zeon #56675 instead of a named character, go for it!

Oh, and if you’re wondering why we’re doing this now when the con is still 8 months away, I just figured it’d be good to let everyone know with plenty of time to do their outfits.

• Bernie Wiseman: We have the outfit for him, we’ll just find the measurements and see if anyone is willing to borrow it for the shoot/con. You’d have to supply your own boots, wig, and gloves, however. The outfit is roughly a men’s Small/Medium.
