Homestuck is no exception? Stop telling people how to react to things and just ignore them if you don’t like how they react. I have to say I don’t hate Homestuck but I find the fandom profoundly annoying and you can’t get away from it either
I’m saying to just ignore it if you don’t like it. I’m annoyed by the fans of pretty much everything on the BBC but I don’t complain about it all the time. The Avengers fandom is a huge trainwreck, too. I just filter it and move on. You don’t make a case for yourself when you mindlessly hate on things. You become just as annoying as the fans you don’t like.
I realize I’m kinda contradicting myself but whatever.
When I was young, I hated sports. I still don’t like sports. But when I was young I bitched about how I hated them. I had a CRUSADE against them. Then I grew up. I don’t go around actively hating on them because whatever, people like them. Sure they’re in my face all the time but I can’t do anything about that. Complaining about it accomplishes nothing.
Also, never hate the product because you don’t like the fans. I can’t stand Bronies but I still find Ponies to be an enjoyable show.
