Yzak.

For whatever reason, I like Yzak. He’s probably the one character to survive the entire SEED franchise with his dignity completely intact. How is that even POSSIBLE.

Day 19 - Favorite non-combatant character

Astonaige Medoz. You gotta love Gundam’s eternal mechanic. He’s dealt with pretty much everything from whining teens to… well, crazy troublemaker teens. and he gets such a lame death in CCA. A character of his awesomeness deserved to make it to F91 and beyond, but I guess that spot was reserved for another…

Day 18 - Favorite masked character 

Harry Ord, man…

We never really get much insight into why he wears these glasses (is he blind or something?) but man he’s just… so awesome. He’s one of those rare cases of a bodyguard character who doesn’t come off like a lapdog. He’s awesome and has an equally awesome mobile suit, what more could you ask for?

Day 17 - The character you relate to most

yeah I bet you all expected her to show up here at some point

look Roux’s kind of a bitch. I’m not denying that. But like her I’m stuck working with a bunch of stupid kids that can’t tell their heads from their asses. I sympathize a lot. Also, I think her intentions are good, but at times her “STRAIGHTEN UP AND STOP CRYING” mentality just makes her seem nasty. sooo… yeah.

Day 16 - Least favorite character

Fuck Wu Fei.

No seriously, fuck this guy. Yeah, okay, he’s got a backstory that helps make him kind of sympathetic? But it’s not in the show itself, and he kinda needs that to be at all interesting. He just comes of as a misogynistic asshole with no depth who never shuts up. At least he has cool Gundams…

Day 15 - Favorite overall character

Loran is easily the best main character in all of Gundam. With the exception of maybe like… Domon, he’s the only one who managed to never whine or complain and feel like an ACTUAL PERSON. He’s just so nice and polite and you want to give him a hug.

Day 13 - Favorite non-Gundam Mobile Suit

I love the GM Sniper II Custom.

I almost feel like a poser for loving it so much, since I’ve never played Rise from the Ashes (ha ha, no Dreamcast). My first experience with it was the awful PS1 game, where it first used the actual sniper rifle. There’s just something wonderful about this suit; the color scheme, the team name, the weapons… it’s just great. So happy I’m getting the new HGUC.
