Oh god this is annoying me so much. And then people who use that nostalgia to imply the Build Burning Gundam is a modification of the God Gundam kit somehow. I can see a mild homage with the red shoulders and the ring of fire (and the side skirts are sort of the same shape as God Gundam’s), but really why would something called “Burning” NOT have more red to it? (And shoot fire?)

Really it looks more like some weird Exia/Strike hybrid. The arms and shoulder pads really remind me of the Exia and the legs look some something from SEED, or some kinda alien design.
