Trans Women: My life is a constant battle over my gender. On a daily basis, I am forced into uncomfortable, often dangerous, situations that demand I physically, emotionally, and spiritually defend myself against overt assaults on my womanhood and my body. Every day of my life, I have to declare the validity of my identity and my lived experience and this declaration must be made in the face of often overwhelming opposition from every conceivable angle. Sometimes, I wish I could just disappear.
Every Other Kind of Trans/GNC Person/Cis Queer Allies: Ugh! Trans women are the WORST! They take up so much space and have so much visibility and get to have their gender recognized and validated by probably everyone I guess.
