On the writers reunion feature on the season 3 bluray, they all pretty much admit that despite how hard they worked on First Contact, the series finale was a much stronger story. pundercracker said: I’ve never seen that movie but I will never forget every single commercial I saw on TV of Picard screaming with a tommy gun while in a tux.
