i really need a new camera. i took these all blind.

this is, i think, the first HGUC kit i’ve assembled since my hiatus from the hobby.  i used tamiya primer on this kit and was therefore unable to sand between coats of paint, which left me coping with some significant flaking of the payne’s grey and also a lot of brushstrokes on the brown parts of the kit.  

i lost the monoeye and carved a new one out of the kit’s beam saber.

i will most definitely be weathering my kits in a different fashion in the future.  

all in all, this was an interesting project but not something i am particularly happy with.  hope it’s fun to look at.
