Talk about an annoying kit to pose, ugh.

Chances are if you’ve been into Gunpla since Gundam Wing was on Toonami you’ve built this kit like, three times at least. I lost count myself. I figured I’d actually get one of these and make it look all nice, drawing heavy inspiration from Build Fighters’ Tallgeese Valkyrie. The only real changes I made were the gold on top of the helmet and the Zeon symbol on the shield, which unfortunately isn’t visible on any of these photographs. I didn’t feel like dealing with the bird emblem on the shield, so I removed it. Obviously, the gun came off the Tallgeese III kit, and I decided to use the torso from that one as well.

This mold desperately needs retiring. It’s old. Degraded. We need a High Grade of this not because it’s BAD, but because this thing can’t take any more reissues.
