RSSHi! I know this is strange and out of nowhere, but I know you are really well versed with cosplay and the community surrounding it which is why I'm messaging you. I'm cosplaying for the first time at New York Comic Con in two weeks, and I was wondering if there were any do's/dont's about cosplaying at conventions that I should know? I know it seems really strange to be asking but I know a lot of people take cosplay very seriously and I'm doing this more as a thing that I've wanted to try out.
All I can really say is have fun, don’t act like a jerk, and, for the love of god, practice posing. The best way to ruin any photo is by staring at the photographer like a deer in headlights.
