Am I too late to the Pacific Rimstuck party?

Somewhat inspired by Celynbrum’s Pacific Rim crossover that hasn’t technically been written yet (but I’m still excited for it fffff-).

I approve.

Homestuck fucking up everything good in the world yet again. Can’t wait til this shit is over.

Actually I’m pretty sure the only thing “fucking up everything good in the world" is when people think it’s somehow acceptable to shit-talk someone’s involvement in fandom just because you personally don’t like it.  I’ve seen this attitude far too much regarding Homestuck, and since people seem to lose all understanding of what is socially acceptable when MSPA is involved, let’s go over some basic rules that everyone can enjoy:

If you don’t like someone’s fandom, don’t cry and complain about how they’re ruining “your" precious conventions/favorite series/whatever.  Protip: it’s not all about you.

If you don’t like someone’s fandom, don’t harass them in person because it’s the cool thing to do.  Protip: it’s not all about you.

If you don’t like someone’s fandom, don’t leave toolish comments regarding cosplay, art, or fic on the creator’s blog or the blogs of their friends where they can obviously see it.  Hit that oh-so elusive down button and scroll past it.  Protip: it’s not all about you.

Hate it all you want and chat among your friends, but the second you somehow think that your opinion is so high and mighty that you can tell other people what they shouldn’t draw or enjoy, it’s time to look at your priorities.
