the fact that people actually have to write “this is just my opinion please don’t attack me for it” after making a harmless opinionated post on their personal blog is really just a testament to how awful this site is
yeah it is really awful that people feel it’s okay to post awful hate and bigotry and then tag it so everyone else is forced to see it. i just hate that.
THIS. Please. Folks will post holocaust-denying crap and then add ‘“this is just my opinion please don’t attack me for it” before it, I’ve seen it. They put that there because they KNOW people will get pissed at them for what they wrote and tagged and they think that will give them a magic excuse to stop people from rightfully getting angry, or that putting that there will garner them sympathy even when they do unbelievably unsympathetic things.
I’ve never seen someone write that sentence in front of any kind of normal post.
