Today, April 2nd, is the 20th Anniversary of Victory Gundam’s premiere on the Japanese airwaves.

Victory is one of those series that you either hate or you love. This was the final installment in the Universal Century timeline before diverging into the AU series. Tomino certainly went out with a bang on this one.

Taking the role of the youngest protagonist to date, 13-year old Uso leads the series with one of the largest death rates since Tomino’s Ideon and certainly one of the most grim and depressing Gundam series since Zeta.
