I'm sorry... was my ask not polite? I was asking genuine questions. I'm just trying to understand why you said something so hurtful to people who genuinely support marriage equality. Maybe you shouldn't have said anything in the first place if you weren't ready to stand by it?
It’s a joke, okay? A joke. Something people on tumblr don’t seem to get. It was SARCASTIC. Look. There’s a lot of people out there who think that marriage equality=HOMOPHOBIA OVER in the same way people think Black President=RACISM OVER. It’s not, and same-sex marriage will do little to get rid of any kind of actual person-to-person discrimination. All it will mean is that same-sex couples can get married and have the same benefits as straight couples. That’s it.
