I remembered today that normal guys have fandoms too.
They’re called sports.
And they all ship their teams with victory.
As I once heard it on a gaming forum: Fantasy football (baseball, basketball, whatever) is Dungeons and Dragons for the guys who would beat up the kids who played Dungeons and Dragons.
This is the most accurate thing I’ve read all day.
