What IS Homestuck?

Homestuck is a crazy webcomic about these (initially) four kids who are playing a video game that they are also living in. As time goes on it’s revealed that the world they live in was created by a race of aliens called the trolls, after the game session THEY were playing went terribly awry.
Contrary to what many people think, it’s actually a comedy.
