EVA is something I have… mixed feelings about. It’s important and influential as all fuck, but it never really appealed to me. Flawed characters are important to have, yes, but sometimes the flaws kind of overcome the characters and just make them annoying. At times it just felt twisted for the sake of being twisted.

That being said, I love the Universe, I love the concept of the Angels, and I like the EVAs themselves. I just hate most of the cast. Thankfully, SRW and the Rebuild movies have been fixing them in my eyes.
