And why celebrate something you always do everyday around anyways? It’s nothing special. You might just probably stack up on more food or pull out your special joint.
Reason why I don’t want to do pot is because people think if an artist smokes pot it instantly makes them super cool. Maybe it’s just because a bunch of teenagers like the idea of someone breaking a rule that they instantly think they are awesome.
I don’t have the need to do it or try it. I don’t even drink. I don’t want to.

it’s kind of upsetting that people are still saying that everyone “just smokes to be c00l”, and it’s even more upsetting seeing people actually telling someone to go fuck themselves for doing it?? I can understand stoner culture can be pretty fucking ridiculous and some people can go overboard, but let’s not forget the fact that there are actually a good amount of people who smoke for the sake of their physical and mental health. I smoke weed on a daily basis; not to go MAN IM SO HIGH CZECH DIS SHIT 420420420, but to curb my social anxiety and help me focus on working because I have difficulty staying focused for extended periods of time. I think 4/20 is pretty silly, but at the same time I do “celebrate” it in the sense that cannabis has helped me overcome obstacles and helped me retain the focus I needed on my artwork to help me improve; which I have.
I know it’s not for everyone, but it is for a good amount of people. Instead of hatewanking anyone who supports the “holiday”, just push it aside and don’t partake. It has made a positive impact on some people’s lives, why tell anyone to fuck themselves just for wanting to celebrate that? Let’s point out two horrible events that happened on an arbitrarily selected day of the year to smoke cannabis and use that as a reason to judge others for choosing to smoke cannabis on this arbitrarily selected day.
If it were any other day of the year you could find any other sort of murder or disaster that occurred that day and continue to judge other people for it.
