Top Text: “INSERT TOP TEXT HERE.”
Bottom Text: “INSERT BOTTOM TEXT HERE.”]I hear this a lot. A customer misreads a sign and I spell it out to them, and they say “that’s very deceiving!” Yeah, maybe if the majority of customers were illiterate and/or were as dumb as you.
I had to vent due to some stupid woman reading our “2 or more for 2/$2” signs on two separate items. Instead of realizing this was a common mistake and no harm/no foul, she decides to wag her finger condescendingly like a first grade teacher and say “that’s very deceiving!” Like I’m 5 years old. I just told her “I’m sorry you feel that way”, even though I do not. I’m sure if she was a teacher, her kids would probably understand the offer better than she could.
I once had someone complain that the sign was misleading because he couldn’t read that it said per pound. PER POUND. Goddamn.
