If you’re out shopping and it’s late and you see an employee hovering around you folding shit, it’s because they’re trying to subtly hint to you that it’s fucking closing time and you need to get your ass out the store.

and if you ask and they say “haha no it’s okay take your time”

they are lying. they are lying through their teeth because they aren’t allowed to tell you that you to hurry the fuck up and get out. 

so seriously pay for your shit and leave. they still gotta clean the whole fucking store, close registers, and the longer you’re there the longer they have to stay past their shift and they are not paid enough for that kind of bullshit.
